Q.Why aren't any of the new Ventures releases on vinyl?

A.We don't know that there is a large enough market for vinyl records. Right now, neither Toshiba or GNP Crescendo is interested in doing that.

Q.Many of the Japanese CD's are not available in the USA and Canada. How do we obtain copies of these cd's?

A.A lot these Japanese CD's are only out for a 2 or 3 year period. We try to license about half of these, but otherwise it has to be done through import, which makes them very expensive.

Q.I would like to order the video of Live in Japan 1990. Where can I obtain it?

A.I have just ordered videotapes of Live in '93 and the 1985 SuperSessions, which is the Ventures with many guest artists. These will be available from our website. If there is enough interest in 1990, I'll try to get copies of that, too.

Q.Has there been any though to a big box set of Ventures, other than Japan's that I need a VA loan to buy?

A.Yes that's true, and half of them aren't available.We tried to get Rhino Records to develop a box set. The problem is that there's so much Ventures product on the shelf, especially the lower end, which is not well produced. The feeling is that people will buy this or the See for Miles and One Way twofers rather than a box set.
